Targeted redistricting and tight ties to executive power make it harder for everyday citizens to break through the noise. To force Congress to listen, we have to flip their own system against them.

Because candidates and Super PACs are legally barred from coordinating privately, campaigns rely on a public trick called “redboxing”. They post their exact strategic playbooks—vulnerable voter demographics, target neighborhoods, and core arguments—right on open web pages for big-money PACs to see. What they forget is that a public webpage is public to everyone.

Through independent, grassroots action, voters can hijack this data. By pulling campaign targets directly off candidate sites, regular people acting of their own free will can mount their own counter-outreach. Instead of letting corporate PACs flood those voters with ad dollars, grassroots volunteers can deploy handwritten postcards and door-to-door conversations opposing the candidate. We can strip away the big-money advantage, take their open signals, and flip the narrative right at their doorstep.
