Carefully Targeted Media

Stephen Friess gap between his “political outsider” identity and the highly organized, carefully targeted campaign operation described in his own messaging is evident.

The broad list of themes may make Friess sound familiar to Republican voters, but it leaves less room for a specific explanation of what he would accomplish for Wyoming.

Friess presents himself as a businessman who “can’t be bought,” but the requested strategy lays out a detailed paid-media plan aimed at specific Republican primary voters.

The campaign asks for direct mail, texting, addressable streaming, satellite, radio, and broadcast television—using separate channels to reach the same targeted voter universe.

It wants broadcast ads in Cheyenne and Casper, including 15-second spots designed to build frequency, suggesting a strategy based on repeated exposure rather than simply introducing voters to Friess’s record.

The message combines Trump alignment, conservative movement credentials, the Friess family legacy, energy and ranching, abortion, guns, immigration, and “traditional values.”
